At Brasserie De Kasteelhoeve, we serve primarily typical Belgian classics. Are you craving stew, shrimp croquettes, or a vol-au-vent? We’ve got you covered! Additionally, we cater to international flavours and seasonal suggestions. In De Kasteelhoeve, it’s all about enjoying no-frills dishes in a warm, inviting atmosphere. On beautiful days, you can spend time on our sunny terrace with a view of the beautiful castle and the charming church of Westmalle. Meanwhile, children can have a fun-filled time playing in our playground.

Bed & Breakfast

B&B De Kasteelhoeve has seven brand-new rooms with contemporary interiors. Wooden floors and built-in wooden cabinets give our rooms a warm ambience. At the same time, large windows provide plenty of natural light. Each room has air conditioning and sound insulation. Our modern bathrooms feature a spacious walk-in shower with a luxurious rain showerhead. Our two “Deluxe Terrace” rooms are more spacious and have a private terrace where you can enjoy a delightful cup of coffee or an aperitif. Speaking of coffee, you can help yourself to a complimentary cup in our lobby with an “honesty bar.”

Multipurpose room

Are you planning a celebration with family or friends? Or are you looking for a business meeting or association gathering venue? Look only as far as our versatile room, accommodating up to 30 for meetings and around 50 for dining. The space is bright, spacious, flexible, and equipped with a modern interactive presentation screen. In short, it’s the perfect venue for any event!

About us

De Kasteelhoeve has been a part of our family for three generations. Our grandparents used to cultivate the land the old castle lords owned, and our parents transformed it into a tavern. As the proud successors of our parents’ legacy, we, Sigrid and Michael, transformed The Kasteelhoeve into a classic Belgian brasserie and a modern B&B with seven elegant rooms.
